The Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA), formerly known as the Gay-Straight Alliance, was first started in 2006. After advisor Carlie Nemecek’s maternity leave, German Rojas, a Morse graduate, started the club back up in 2016. This year, the GSA is planning to make their presence known on campus.

“My mission as president is to create a safe space for queer individuals at Morse,” stated Allyson Rapada, senior and president of the GSA, “as well as create a stronger bond between our fellow Straight allies and LGBT plus identified bodies.”

For now, the GSA meets on Fridays at lunch in room T101.* They are planning to have a table to represent their club on Club Dayy.

*NOTE: Nemecek’s room has been relocated to room 414.
