The Morse Islander Student Alliance (MISA) received an invite to the Paradise Hills Night Market; where they performed dance routines on Nov. 25th, 2017.

MISA performed for an audience of over 4,000 Paradise Hills Night Market attendees.

“That night we performed oteas, songs that consist of drum beats,” claimed MISA member, Jilleona Mae Cruz

“The event went great. I loved all the food vendors and the retailers. I liked how people of the community all came together to celebrate us and where we grew up,” Anne Ellaine, a member of MISA, continued. “MISA’s performance went great, in fact, after we performed we wanted to perform again. The people were really helpful with setting us up and making sure everything went smoothly.”.

In addition to being another opportunity to perform, MISA members also used the event to bond with each other and to get to hang out with the new members to the group.
