Morse held a Fall Open House on Sept. 20, 2018 inside the auditorium, classrooms, and quad by, setting up an agenda in order to welcome parents and families.

The agenda was placed in order to move things smoothly during family visits. It consisted of a specific schedule with time frames to assist parents.

In the auditorium, principal Cynthia Larkin held a Welcome Meeting from 5:10 p.m. to 6 p.m. After, a PTSA meeting was held from 6 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. in the auditorium as well.

Every period was assigned a 10 minute visitation. This time would be used for parents and families to come into their child’s class and observe their daily schedule. Classroom visits started at 6:20 p.m. and ended at 7:45 p.m.

“I always want more parents to attend, but I can’t control who shows up,” Larkin said. “I definitely invite parents via school messenger.”

During this time, there were also other things taking place in the quad such as parent portal code pick ups, club and community information, and parent elections.
